Advanced Figure Skating

Competitive figure skating at McMillen Ice Arena is offered in conjunction with the Fort Wayne Ice Skating Club, the local affiliate of the U.S. Figure Skating Association.

Practices are scheduled at various times Monday through Friday and Sunday afternoons.

Participants may also schedule private lessons with McMillen Ice Arena professional skating instructors and get extra practice. The Advanced Figure Skating Program is open to skaters of all skill levels (including Learn-to-Skate levels). Participants must be a member of FWISC (FWISC Learn to Skate and Full membership forms are available at the rink.) For more information, please call Sarah at 427-6767 at McMillen Ice Arena.

Punch Passes are available for purchase Monday –

Friday at the General Office at McMillen Ice Arena.

Not interested in Punch Passes? No problem, you can

always pay as you go… 1 - Walk-On $10

Walk-On fees are to be paid directly to the ice monitor

before your skating session begins.

Eligibility Guidelines

(Skaters must be taking a private lesson at some time during the week)

General: MAQ and above

Open: PrePreliminary – Senior; Adult Bronze – Gold

High: Juvenile – Senior; Adult Gold

Low: MAQ – PreJuvenile; Adult Pre-Bronze – Silver

Low with Learn to Skate: Learn to Skate students;

MAQ – PreJuvenile; Adult Pre-Bronze – Silver
